CHARACTERS
PILOT OUTLINE
A long line of mindless zombies file out of various corporate headquarters (amongst them, AT&T) and line up all the way down to the bay where they lie down on the water and begin to float. One zombie can be seen removing and folding his clothes neatly before joining the others on their aquatic voyage. They float slowly to the beach of Taumata Island where they are immediately dispatched in their own time by a shotgun blast to the head.
Gillian, our heroine, performs the honours.
She is joined by Dustin, the Billionaire, and his mother. They discuss setting up festivities for the Captain's birthday, Dustin reminding Gillian that it is also Louise's birthday. Mother Howard is dragged off by a horde of hermit crabs as she drones on about her invitation to Grover Cleveland's birthday party- a regular occurrence.
Returning to the village, Gillian and Dustin discover that Louise has already finished decorating an elaborate party - her own surprise party. She requests that they leave so as not to spoil the surprise. On their way out, they meet the Captain and distract him with a trip to the other side of the island.
The three arrive at Dr. Deathcure's science complex and find that he has created an assistant. This introduction is interrupted by the arrival of Havelock and his Scientology pirate crew. He has arrived to assist with the mistress' birthday celebration but proves to be quite unstable after ripping both a member of his crew and the Scientist's new creation assunder. To avoid any catastrophes, Dustin sends him to the mainland to retrieve a new bottle of Louise's favourite perfume.
As soon as they've departed, the Coast Guard appears on the horizon. A small envoy consisting of a gangly goof in a bucket hat and his stern and portly skipper reaches the beach where Gangly immediately falls in love with Gillian. The Captain and the skipper wander off without supervision.
Gillian and Dustin continue their party preparations by attempting to find some presents on the island - including a new watch found on an amputated zombie arm - all the while as Gangly fawns over Gil. The skipper is attacked by zombies to the Captain's surprise. He runs...
...into Gillian, Dustin and Gangly. Gangly explains that the Coast Guard has scouted the island for a new base and has already begun removing illegally zoned fencing - fencing in place to hold the zombies.
A scream is heard in the distance - Louise!
They run to the village to find that Louise has decimated a pack of zombies and is chasing the remaining Coast Guard back to the harbour where they return quickly to their boat which is suddenly annihilated by the returning Havelock and his yachts.
The festivities go on as planned for the Captain, Louise and the Scientist, whose birthday it is found also to be. Louise is in love with her perfume and new earings, still attached to zombie ears. The Scientist orders his new creation, a Gangly-Frankenstein, to get him some cake. The Captain wanders up with a leashed zombie skipper and requests that he be allowed to keep him.
